About the event

Join us at Holy Trinity Cathedral on Sunday 19 October for the first Festival of Church Music, a celebration of sacred music at the heart of worship in partnership with the Auckland branch of the RSCM.

This special day features music woven throughout both the 10am Choral Eucharist and 4pm Choral Evensong, with choristers joining us from all over the country, organ, and congregation lifting their voices together.

The Festival is an opportunity to experience the beauty and power of choral and organ music in the Cathedral’s magnificent acoustics, as well as to give thanks for the rich musical tradition that continues to inspire and shape our worship.

All are warmly invited to share in this day of prayer, worship and music. Whether you come regularly or are visiting for the first time, we encourage you to be part of this joyful celebration.

Don’t forget that this 4pm Choral Evensong…
