Holy Trinity Cathedral

The Friends of Holy Trinity Cathedral in collaboration with the Auckland Opera Studio present this rare opportunity to hear two of the opera world's emerging superstars together in concert.
​
One of the new lyric voices of the next generation, NZ-Samoan, Amitai Pati will take to the Cathedral stage with Romanian soprano, Adela Zaharia whose many accolades include winning first prize at the world opera competition Operalia in 2017. They will be accompanied by Somi Kim, an impressive talent her own right, one of Aoetearoa’s most sought-after pianists and member of the NZTrio.

This will be an evening of arias and duets as you would hear them sung in any of the premiere opera houses around the world.
WHO WE ARE
The Friends of Holy Trinity Cathedral exists to:
​
Establish a lively interest in the Cathedral and to enhance its ministry across a wide and
representative cross-section of Auckland City;
and
Encourage people and institutions to contribute financially and in any other way towards the completion and maintenance of the Cathedral and its general advancement.

WHAT WE DO
Our members are not predominantly Cathedral parishioners, but those who recognise the value and importance of
Holy Trinity Cathedral within the city of Auckland.
Since its inception, a combination of fundraising efforts and membership donations has enabled The Friends to make significant contributions to support the life and work of the Cathedral, seen and unseen.​
