CARMINA BURANA written by Carl Orff covers the fickleness of fortune, the ephemeral nature of life and the pleasures and perils of it’s temptations. O Fortuna the well-known opening and closing chorus is among the highlights. A large chorus made up of Auckland choirs will be joined by soloists, a full percussion section and two pianos.
Demonstrating the power of singing in maintaining mental health, this event will also fundraise for youth mental health.
Funds raised will go to The Sir John Kirwan Foundation's Mitey Programme. This puts mental health coaches and guidance in New Zealand schools.
