About the Event

Cymanfa Ganu is a Festival of singing in the Welsh tradition of Christianity. It welcomes all religions and ethnicities and its statement of intent is “Cenwch i’r Arglwydd” (“Sing to the Lord”). It traditionally takes place in a grand cathedral with hymns sung in Welsh by the congregation in 4-part harmony to the accompaniment of the church organ.
