Holy Trinity Cathedral Museum Display

On Friday, 28 July, a display featuring Auckland’s Anglican Cathedral was opened at the Auckland War Memorial Museum. This display shows the journey of Holy Trinity Cathedral from the purchase of the land in Parnell by Bishop Selwyn through to Consecration and beyond. The display, located on the Ground Floor between the Maori Court and the Pacific Masterpieces, depicts out story with photos and items from the 19th century through to the present.

Told in both English and te reo, and with fascinating objects on view, this display is well worth a visit. The display will be in place until February 2018.

Auckland Museum entry is free for Aucklanders with a MyMuseum card, with proof of residence.
