Bishop Selwyn Lecture, 2017

This years’ lecture was given by the Very Rev’d Professor Martyn Percy who is the Dean (or head) of Christ Church, Oxford, as well as of the Cathedral Church of the Diocese of Oxford. He gave his lecture the title House-hunting and Home-coming: Understanding Space and Spirituality.

Dean Percy looked at the question: What does it mean to inhabit and belong to a church – as a space, and as a congregation in a community? In his engaging lecture, he lead an exploration into how space and spirituality can be understood and re-imagined for those in our communities who are seeking a home of faith, and a homecoming with God.
