As we return to life without lockdowns and restrictions on work and gatherings, we are excited to look forward again and to being able to fully live out the mission of Holy Trinity Cathedral—
Welcoming all, worshipping God, nourishing community and
empowering action.
—to enable our community to fully live this out, there needs to be a secure financial foundation to what we do.
The Holy Trinity Cathedral Trust for Ministry, Music and Mission has been launched to provide an enduring source of revenue to support the “core business” of our Cathedral – being its ministry, music and mission.

SUPPORTING AND GROWING OUR
ABOUT THE TRUST
The Holy Trinity Cathedral Trust for Ministry, Music and Mission has been set up with the support and endorsement of Cathedral Council and Diocesan Council, and is governed by five Trustees from within the Cathedral community who have been appointed by Cathedral Council. The Trust is a registered charity, and has engaged the services of a well-regarded Investment Manager with a proven history of strategic, long-term fund management, especially for charitable entities.
Donations and bequests can be made to the Trust fund, and this money which will be retained in the fund in perpetuity. The annual investment returns from the Trust fund will be allocated each year to Cathedral Council to enhance the work of the Cathedral in the key areas of ministry, music and mission. This model ensures that every donation or bequest remains in the Trust, and will provide a financial return, through investment, to the Cathedral each and every year.
The Right Reverend Ross Bay, Bishop of Auckland, has stated 'I am heartened by the initiative of this Trust with its focus on ministry, music and mission, and encourage you to support it'.
Your prayerful consideration of support for this new venture is welcomed, as it will provide a source of income to support the work of the Cathedral that will outlast us all.
A brochure containing more information is available from the Cathedral, and any of the Trustees will be willing to speak with you about the Trust and how you can make a donation or bequest.
With our Cathedral buildings now finished and consecrated, the Holy Trinity Cathedral Trust for Ministry, Music and Mission will help provide a secure financial basis for the work of the Cathedral going well into the future.
We look forward to meeting with you.
