Within the Cathedral Community there are a wide variety of groups to join:
Cathedral Welcomers offer a significant ministry within the life of both St Marys and Holy Trinity Cathedral. Their role is to offer a warm welcome to visitors and tourists who come to our precinct. All the team speak of the enriching experience of meeting people from around Aotearoa New Zealand and the world.
Some Welcomers have a duty once-a-month, some once-a-fortnight, while others have chosen to come in once-a-week. Morning duty hours are 10.00am-1.00pm and afternoons are 1.00-4.00pm during Daylight Saving and until 3.00pm during the rest of the year. If you are interested in learning more about the Cathedral Welcomers please contact their coordinator, Paul Kelly-Moore at firstname.lastname@example.org
Frozen Meal Ministry

These meals are then distributed by the Cathedral staff team in an effort to support either families or individuals who are experiencing particularly busy or challenging circumstances. If you would like to join this team or know of somebody who would benefit from a meal, or two, please contact Paul Kelly-Moore at: email@example.com

Under the leadership of the Duty Chaplain and alongside ward staff, the team offer assistance to patients wanting to attend the service.
